Hi and thanks for using justAnswer.com. Regardless of whether your saw has a righthand or lefthand arbor, the bolt always comes off in the same direction of rotation as the blade cuts. There is also an arbor lock for removal & install of the blade. It looks like a stud pin. Push in on it while rotating the blade until it slips into détente & locks.
