I imagine slab saws would have trouble with them since there is no support for the other half of the rock typically, and these things are heavy! This factors in to the second question: I’ve been using a 10″ MK tile saw to cut my rocks and am looking to get something a bit nicer to use (and to save my tile saw from dying an agate-y death).
